Susan and Stephen | A Winthrop Estate Wedding | Berkshire Wedding Photography

Enna and I are so excited to be posting these images from Susan and Stephen’s wedding! If you follow our blog you may know them as the “biplane couple”. This is what our other clients have been calling them ever since we did their engagement shoot at an airfield and on a biplane. If you haven’t seen it you have to check it out!

Susan and Stephen travel a lot. Their time dating involved many trips back and forth from the US to London to see each other. So it was only fitting that their wedding should have a travel theme. The details included British flags, sayings, tea, vintage suitcases, and tables set beautifully with flowers and old books. After getting ready they began with a “first look” seeing each other alone for the first time that day all dressed up and ready to go. With their portraits and those of the family and wedding party complete they were able to enjoy a nice relaxed ceremony and cocktail hour with everyone who came to the wedding. Susan’s sister played her harp as the guests arrived for the ceremony, and the wedding party proceeding across the long lawn of the estate made for some fantastic photos. The setting was the amazing Winthrop Estate nestled in the hills of the Berkshires. After an amazing dinner in the tent they all went inside the mansion for fun at the photo station and on the dance floor. Enna and I loved seeing the ladies from London wearing such fashionable hats! I also enjoyed seeing Susan’s Maid of Honor Liz again, as it was Liz who found our web site and insisted that Susan and Stephen meet with us. Liz even took the time to join Susan and Stephen at their first meeting with us back when they were planning their wedding.

Congratulations Susan and Stephen! It was such an honor to be there for you and we hope all visiting the blog enjoy your photos as much as we do!  ~Matt and Enna
